About Dr. Erin Tansill

I am a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio University. During graduate school, my research focused on the physical health effects of interpersonal violence. I also provided therapy for trauma survivors, which included a focus on substance use concerns, struggles with emotion regulation, depression, PTSD, sexual identity, and interpersonal conflicts. I completed my predoctoral internship at the American Lake VA where my training focused on addiction treatment and recovery, anxiety, military sexual trauma, combat PTSD, complex PTSD and depression, and couples therapy.

Collaboratively, and with compassion, I approach each client as an individual and each relationship as unique. During therapy, I integrate evidence-based methods into therapy to achieve goals we’ve identified together. I work with people of all orientations and identities and am LGTBQIA2S+ affirming.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking gluten free food while dancing and singing in the kitchen with my twins, playing the piano, visiting family and friends, and taking hikes in the woods with my husband.
